Why PATOFEO? Because as artists, we are always ugly ducks in most production systems; because, as Colombians, we are ugly ducks wherever we go; because we are ugly ducks that wish to become swans or simply assume our subversive ugliness in the face of an aesthetically correct and institutionalized imaginary. Our intent is to engage on a guerrilla-like revolution of identity aesthetics and visual exploration.  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who are we? PATOFEOFILMS is a production company born of the union of young visual artists and executive producers with ample professional trajectory, and who are highly acknowledged in Colombia. It is a contemporary production company that functions as a collective, and produces self-promoting projects as well as for others, seeking to promote a balance between an integral professional development and, the possibilities of enhancing the commercial enterprise through the application of diverse disciplines and perspectives. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What do we do? PATOFEOFILMS is divided in two large departments that work in conjunction: the real image and the digital image departments. It produces short- and long-term projects, from long-feature films and short films, to video-clips, commercials, new formats, animation, photography, and graphic design.
